Black Sabbath Touring Drummer Explains Why He Took The Gig

(Classic Rock) Black Sabbath touring drummer Tommy Clufetos has explained why he accepted the job, despite the controversy surrounding original member Bill Ward's absence. And although he doesn't mention him by name, Clufetos makes it clear he has nothing but respect for the man whose position he covers.

In a preview video for an upcoming edition of Rhythm magazine, Clufetos says: "I look at it as an opportunity to play great music and experience something new. If I wasn't going to play drums, somebody else would have played. I go, 'Would I regret not doing this?' Yes. So you have to do it - how could you not?

"I understand all the mixed feelings and emotions. I totally get it; but I'm here to to the greatest job I can, and give people the experience of hearing those songs. I think I've done that. I think people have walked away enjoying what I've brought." more on this story
