Stevie Nicks Wants to Write Music For 'Game of Thrones'

(Radio.com) Underneath her Nicksian mystique and peerless songwriting, Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks is really just a binge-watching TV fan just like the rest of us.

First, she puts makes a cameo appearance in a Fleetwood Mac-themed episode of Glee, then appears in another Ryan Murphy-helmed show, American Horror Story: Coven. Now, according to the UK publication Radio Times (via The Hollywood Reporter) she's a big fan of the acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones and wants to write music for it.

The show got her through some tough times, she said. Nicks' mother died in late 2011. "I didn't leave the house for almost five months," Nicks said. "And then I got pneumonia… I watched the entire first season of Game of Thrones. That certainly took my mind off everything.

She added, "I would love to write some music for the show. I've written a bunch of poetry about it - one for each of the characters." more on this story
