ASAP Ferg Preaches To The Kids In 'Hood Pope' Music Video
. The video, directed by Shomi Patwary, shows scenes of little kids stealing and struggling to survive, clear from the scars that Patwary highlights in several close-up shots. But Ferg is talking directly to the Harlem kids with the track off his 2013 debut, Trap Lord, letting them know there's still some hope out there, but they have to smarten up: "You talking about you riding with them/ And fighting with them, those ain't your friends/ You dying, lying on cement, momma be crying 'Don't take him!'" By the end Ferg's standing in the park, giving a sermon to the local teens, letting them know, "Young Trap Lord, feel your pain, I be down for my people." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
