(Radio.com) Jared Leto's first movie role in six years has paid off big time. At Sunday night's (Jan. 12) 71st Annual Golden Globes, the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman took home the prize for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his role as Rayon, a transgender woman with AIDS, in Dallas Buyers Club.

"I did not use prosthetics," Leto told the crowd when he got to the stage, letting them know "that tiny little brazilian bubble butt" was all his. Leto continued to joke about the work that went into the role.

"I had to wax my entire body, including my eyebrows," he said. "I didn't have to do full Brazilian. Ladies, you know what I'm talking about. And so do some of you men."

Ending his speech on a serious note, Leto said: "To the Rayons of the world, thanks for the inspiration."

When Leto spoke recently with Radio.com, he explained that he put a lot of his focus on finding the right speaking voice for the character. Find out what he had to say here.
