Keith Urban Tries To Make Different Kind of Love Song With 'Cop Car'
. "It's very hard to find new ways to serve love songs. They've all been done, you know? We've heard them all," Urban said. "But never have I heard the song written from the point of view of a guy who's in the back of a cop car with handcuffs on, watching a girl go completely redneck crazy at the cops. And he's like, 'I am getting so turned on right now.' So, I love that song." The singer, who is currently on tour, said his unconventional love song is just one of the many standout moments on his latest album, which to him is much bigger than anything he's ever recorded. "This one [Fuse], probably more so than any of the albums we've ever done, feels like a concert experience," Urban said. "The 16 songs, they really cover a lot of ground. There are barnburner rockers on there, and ballads of course. It's a real big mix of songs, [and] hopefully people get a chance to hear that and they come out and see us live, and it all makes sense." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
