Drake Make Fun Of Himself In 'SNL' Promos

01/16/2014
.
(Radio.com) This weekend Drake will take over Saturday Night Live this Saturday (Jan. 18) for the first time since 2011 when Drake played mostly the "good sport" role throughout the show, being interviewed in a Coogi sweater and tagging along with Jay Pharoah for a Halloween sketch.

But after watching the promos for this week, it looks like Aubrey Graham has gained even more confidence, and will dig deep back to his roots as an actor. There's also no small amount of self-effacement about his famous sadboy image. The takeaway quote: "I am the saddest boy in all of Canada."

Drake will no doubt perform songs from his 2013 album Nothing Was The Same, with good odds on "Hold On We're Going Home" which we absolutely loved. This weekend will also mark the debut of Sasheer Zamata, the first black woman on SNL in seven years. Watch all the promos here.
