Warren Haynes Leaving Allman Brothers Band Is No Surprise
. Fans were astonished when it was confirmed that Govt' Mule man Haynes and fellow guitarist Derek Trucks will both leave Gregg Allman's outfit at the end of 2014. But as they gear up to celebrate the band's 45th anniversary, Haynes tells Rolling Stone: "It's not as big a surprise within our network as some people might think � we've been talking about this for a long time."
