(hennemusic) Van Halen and Pearl Jam took home top honors in the 2013 hennemusic Rock News Awards, hennemusic.com announced Friday. Winners are based on the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.

The 4th annual event saw Van Halen pick up their third straight Rock News Artist Of The Year award, while Pearl Jam delivered the Rock News Story Of The Year.

"Van Halen continue to be a priority for hennemusic readers," says Bruce Henne. "Even Pearl Jam's win in the Rock News Story category featured video of the Seattle band playing a rare pair of Van Halen covers on their 'Lightning Bolt' tour." See the top 10 lists here.
