Machine Head Vs Former Member

(TeamRock Radio) Fired Machine Head bassist Adam Duce has launched a lawsuit against his former bandmates and their manager. He's chasing at least $1.8m after mainman Robb Flynn confirmed the split last year and wrote in a blog: "We may have fired Adam, but Adam quit well over a decade ago he just never bothered to tell anyone. Truth be told, he was sick of it. I don't blame him but he just wouldn't quit."

Duce was replaced by Jared MacEachern, but claims he still has an interest in the band's partnership and corporation. He also claims his dismissal was a means to secure more money for his bandmates.

In the lawsuit, he states that despite the band earning $2m supporting Metallica followed by $3m on the road in Europe, and despite being entitled to an equal share of income, he was left so penniless that he had to work a day job when Machine Head weren't touring.

Duce alleges that manager Joseph Huston and Flynn refused to provide satisfactory answers to his questions about where the money was going. He further claims he was fired just before the band signed a deal with Nuclear Blast so the remaining members could pay themselves more. more on this story
