(Radio.com) Jenny Lewis has been keeping herself busy over the past few years composing scores for Sundance worthy films and writing a song for Girls. But she's finally ready to get back to her day job. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Lewis said her new solo albuma follow-up to 2008′s Acid Tonguecould be out this spring.

Lewis told the mag that her upcoming album was inspired by insomnia, but didn't want to start giving details about the music until she was done mixing the record.

"I'm superstitious, until I start mixing, I feel like when I start it then I will be able to actually speak of it," she explained, saying only that she was done recording and "it took a village."

As for her new song, "Completely Not Me," which premiered on the second episode of HBO's Girls, she said it was a song she worked on with her friend, Rostam Batmangli from Vampire Weekend, someone she'd like to do more with in the future. "I originally wanted to do more songs with him but the Girls soundtrack was originally a great outlet for this one collaboration," she said. more on this story
