Anthrax's Scott Ian Releases Preview of Spoken Word DVD

01/24/2014
.
(TeamRock Radio) Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian has released a trailer for his upcoming spoken word DVD, recorded in Glasgow last year. It was recorded last June during his one-man UK tour, of which he said: "I'm calling it 'Speaking Words' because the pretension of saying 'I am doing a spoken-word tour' is too much to bear. This ain't no poetry reading; this isn't an evening of sensitive discourse. It's an evening of ridiculous truth.

"It's me talking – swearing – about this insane life I've led over the last 31 years, the people I've met and the sh*t that's happened. And when I'm done swearing, you can ask me anything you want, the floor is yours."

Speaking Words: Live In Glasgow sees Ian discusses Kerry King's beard, meeting Lemmy, wrestling a goat in a pool –and "a Jewish kid from Queens who started a heavy metal band." It's to be launched via a Pledgemusic campaign in the near future
