Beatles 'Yellow Submarine' Sneakers Coming Soon
. The legendary sneaker company has just announced a partnership with the Fab Four, Rolling Stone reports. The Vans and Beatles collection includes four pairs of shoes featuring artwork from the Yellow Submarine album and film, to be released this March. No word on how wide a release this will be, but the Vans site has a pre-pre-order request for more info so it seems likely they'll be available online. Each pair of shoes runs from $65-$75. The most expensive shoe, the Sk8-Hi Reissue, features colorful cartoon portraits of all four Beatles running up the ankles. The other pairs draw their inspiration from specific scenes from Yellow Submarine animated film. The Era shoes show all four bandmates in a yellow garden with rainbow pants, while another pair called Authentic has an "All You Need Is Love" pattern. The classic slip-on Vans style in this collection are festooned in depictions of the "Sea of Monsters" scene in Yellow Submarine, in which the Fab Four explore the ocean floor and its various creatures before being sucked up by one.
