Dan + Shay Release '19 You + Me' Video
. The song is their first-ever single, and it will appear on their upcoming debut album, which is set for release this year. Now Dan + Shay have released a video for the song, too. Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney met in late 2012 and started writing songs together almost immediately. They released "19 You + Me" in October of 2013 (cowritten with Danny Orton), and right away it was added in large numbers to country radio playlists, a move that signified great interested in the previously little-known duo. The harmonies Smyers and Mooney create together are a huge part of their appeal - you'd almost think they were brothers and had been singing together far more than just a single year. Their voices blend beautifully, too, on the breezy pop melody that propels "19 You + Me," a song about a summer romance in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Watch the video here.
