Marillion, Steve Hackett, Australian Pink Floyd Lead Cropredy Lineup

. (Prog) Marillion, Steve Hackett, Al Stewart and The Australian Pink Floyd Show are among the acts confirmed for Fairport's Cropredy Convention that will be taking place in August.

The annual event's 35th edition takes place in August 7-9 near Banbury, Oxfordshire, and tickets go on sale this Saturday, February 1. Fairport Convention themselves will close the festival as usual, with their ever-popular acoustic set opening proceedings.

Hackett will deliver his Genesis Extended set, featuring tracks he didn't include on his award-winning Genesis Revisited II album. Other attractions include The Waterboys, Chas & Dave and Capercaillie, all making their first Cropredy appearances. The winner of BBC Radio 2′s annual Young Folk Award will also appear.
