Foster the People Tease New Song From Forthcoming Album (Recap)
. In the 45-second teaser, the guys can be seen walking over railroad tracks, hiking through the mountains and beach gazing. At the end of the clip, frontman Mark Foster sings, "Feels like we're coming of age." The band, known for 2011 breakout hit "Pumped Up Kicks," is working on their follow-up to their 2011 debut, Torches. Last summer, they debuted three new songs at a secret L.A. show. On June 2, Foster & co. performed "Fire Escape," "Nevermind" and "Level Up." No word yet if these songs will appear on their TBD sophomore release. In an interview with Rolling Stone last year, frontman Foster prepped fans for an early 2014 release date, with a single at radio in January. "It's not the record that people are gonna expect us to release second," Foster said. "It's definitely an evolution for us, and it's a more polarizing record for us, so I'm excited to see how it's received, for better or worse." - more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
