Adventure Club Brings Pop-Punk Roots To New Album
. Taking to Christian Srigley and Leighton James about the band's upcoming debut album, however, there's a good chance those rock-leaning influences will shine through, thanks to some proposed collaborations on the full-length. "We're going to collab again with Yuna," James revealed when asked about the status of the album, referring to the vocalist who appears on such previously released Adventure Club tracks as "Gold" and "Lullabies." "We're going to collab with some of our friends from the pop-punk hardcore scene. Maybe Tyler Carter from Issues, maybe Oliver (Sykes) from Bring Me the Horizon. As far as the other guys go, I don't think we're really at liberty to say just yet." While there's no release date set for the album's release, the duo have been hard at work on it, saying that they've got "a lot laid out, we just have to finalize the tracks." In the meantime, fans can catch Adventure Club on tour this summer, with dates including stops at the Global Dance Festival in both Colorado (July 18) and Kansas City (July 19) and Chicago's North Coast Music Festival (August 30).
