RZA and Faulkner Release New York Yankees Theme Song Video
. The song is deeply rooted in the wide world of sports, being used as an anthem at all upcoming home games for the Major League Baseball New York Yankees franchise. The track will also serve as the theme for this year's U.S. Open tennis tournament during ESPN broadcasts (via Billboard). Recorded in Rick Rubin's Shangri La Studio in Malibu, the song was debuted back in April of this year on ESPN show, Draft Academy. "I like these guys a lot it turned out to be a great energy," RZA told Billboard earlier this year about the collaboration with Faulkner. "It's never hard to find something new to say about New York. They gave me a demo of the song, and it sounded very interesting. So I said, 'OK, let me come on in and see what kind of energy we have.' And it turned out to be a great energy." Watch the video here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
