Noel Gallagher Insider Compares New Album To Oasis Debut
. Coyle, who co-produced Definitely Maybe, told the NME that he heard Noel's new songs last month - and that Oasis fans are going to like them a lot. "Noel's new album is [expletive] great," said Coyle. "It reminds me in some respects of the spirit of Definitely Maybe, because it's so obviously exciting. That boy is from a different planet, and even the fans won't believe how utterly amazing it is." Coyle continued: "He's not exactly struggling for an 11th song to complete the album. It's pouring out of him and he's currently whittling it all down into an album. The new record will be seismic. It's so explosive that, on the day it comes out, Virgin Trains won't be able to cope with all the people trying to flee the chaos." Gallagher's album won't be out until late 2014. This year also sees, just announced, expanded reissues of Oasis's first three albums. It starts with a 20th anniversary 'Chasing The Sun' edition of Definitely Maybe, on 19 May. In addition to a remastered copy of the album, the three-disc set includes an assortment of rarities, demos, and live recordings from the era. There will also be a deluxe boxset and the remaster will be available as a single disc release and on vinyl. more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
