70s Rock Track Tops The Charts

.
(Classic Rock) Welsh rockers Man have hit the top of the US charts after their 1976 track Something Is Happening was sampled by rap star ScHoolboy Q. It's included in his number Break The Bank, included on third album Oxymoron, which soared to the Billboard number one position last night.

Man formed in South Wales in 1968 and released debut album Revelations the following year. Something Is Happening appeared on their eleventh LP The Welsh Connection featuring Terry Williams, Phil Ryan, John McKenzie, Deke Leonard and Micky Jones.

The band split the same year, then in 1983 Leonard and Jones regrouped with Martin Ace and John 'Pugwash' Weathers. The current lineup, based in Germany, features Ryan, Ace, Josh Ace, James Beck and Rene Robrahn.
