Dregen Leaves Michael Monroe's Band For Good

03/07/2014
.
(Classic Rock) Dregen has announced his departure from Michael Monroe's band is now permanent. The guitarist last year took a break from the ex Hanoi Rocks frontman's outfit so he could support the launch of his self-titled debut solo album.

At the time he said: "I'm going to be back at some point, but I don't know how long I'll be away." Now he's confirmed that won't happen - and that his own plans include the long-awaited Backyard Babies reunion.

"I'm going to miss the band so much - but it's time for me to focus on my solo career and future Backyard Babies albums," Dregen says. "It's been an amazing three years and I've enjoyed every second of it. I hope I contributed positive energy, great live shows, riffs, dirt and songs. The band is so good they'll be fine without me." more on this story
