Jay-Z and Kanye West to Perform Together at SXSW

(Radio.com) Samsung really knows how to put together a headline grabbing showcase at South by Southwest. Last year, the company nabbed Prince and this year, and yesterday (March 10) it was announced that this year they not only got Jay Z to show up, but Kanye West too. Even better, the two are going to perform together. Yes, you will have a chance to watch the throne again.

According to Mashable, the one-night only event takes place on Wednesday (March 12), with the location set to be announced the day of the show. But, not everyone will get a chance to get into the event. Samsung plans to distribute concert wristbands only to owners of Galaxy devices with the newly launched ad-free radio service called Milk Music downloaded on their devices.

The duo will kick off Samsung's four-day SXSW concert series, which also includes performances from Janelle MonŠe, Broken Bells, Cut Copy, Holy Ghost!, and Gary Clark Jr.

This is the first time Jay and Ye have performed together since their year-long Watch the Throne tour that kicked off in 2011. That same year, they also performed at SXSW. more on this story
