Singled Out: Skull Fist's Chasing the Dream
. A few years ago the band played a festival called Up the Hammers In Greece. It was the first time we got to travel anywhere to play a big show with Sh*tloads of really cool people. We spent most of the time Getting retarded drunk and partying with people. The show itself was great but I was outside after the show hanging with this Greek guy who I now call "knife blade". We were having this long conversation about music and what it meant to us, We were so into this conversation and drunk off our asses that we even started crying during it. (one of those nights). I felt like I f***in loved this guy. It was one of the first times I met someone from another country and said to myself "this guy is just like me". I was blown away by it actually. During the conversation the dude had said to me something like "bro, you just gotta keep going man, I believe in you, Please keep going, Keep Chasing the Dream. We hadn't even recorded the first album yet but I already had the title down. I knew that's what I wanted to call the next album after head of the pack. The title for this new album had actually been pre determined almost 3 years before it was even recorded. The title track is related to something else that would take an hour to type but for this title I still thank my Greek brother "knife blade". I haven't talked to him in over a year but I'm sure he knows what our conversation meant to me and that anytime he reappears in time we will carry on the conversation! hahhaha YOU RULE KNIFE BLADE. BROS FOR LIFE! Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
