Freddie Mercury Biopic Loses Director
. Cohen has already been replaced with James Bond star Ben Whishaw and Queen's Brian May recently told VH1 Radio Networks that filming would begin in May, but Variety reported on Thursday that director Dexter Fletcher has quit the production. Fletcher reportedly left the film over creative differences with producer Graham King of GK Films. Variety reports that sources told them that there "were some back and forth not just with King and Fletcher but Whishaw who also wanted changes made to the script and that these changes were taking to[o] long to fix and eventually led to King letting Fletcher go."
