Smash Fashion Release 'Wicked Ways' Video
. The band promise their 12 new songs - Wicked Ways among them - will carry on with the trademark Smash Fashion mix of power pop, glitter, psychedelia, 70s arena rock and punk. Smash Fashion were formed in 2004 by singer/songwriter Roger Deering as a reaction to the "over-serious, no fun, no energy" LA scene. Says Roger: "I wanted a show band with great songs. The art of being an entertainer seems to have disappeared from the rock format - I wanted to bring it back." The 2014 version of Smash Fashion features an all-star line up. Joining Roger are Lloyd Stuart Casson on lead guitar (ex-Meatmen, Rock City Angels), Reijo 'Repo' Kauppila on drums (formerly of Finnish grunge/glam gods Smack) and Tony Kinman on bass. Tony is American punk-rock royalty as he was the singer/bass player with the The Dils as well as with Americana pioneers Rank & File. Watch the video here.
