Diplo, Steve Aoki and Deorro Team Up For 'Freak'

(Radio.com) Two of the biggest names in EDM - Steve Aoki and Diplo, to be specific - have collaborated with rapidly rising new jack Deorro on the monstrous new track, "Freak," released Tuesday (March 18) on Diplo's Mad Decent label.

As one would expect from such dance floor heavyweights coming together on one tune, "Freak" is an epic club banger that's packed with high energy, massive drops and even incorporates a rolling snare drum pattern reminiscent of Plastikman (AKA Richie Hawtin) classic, "Spastik." The track gets an extra boost from Hot Hot Heat singer Steve Bays, who provides the vocals for "Freak."

Diplo recently collaborated with Frank Ocean and former members of The Clash, Mick Jones and Paul Simonon, for the song "Hero," crafted as part of Converse's ongoing "Three Artists, One Song" series. more on this story
