Walter Trout's Band Members Looking For Work During Trout's Illness

03/26/2014
.
(The Blues) Walter Trout's bassist Rick Knapp has asked for help on behalf of his colleagues in finding work while their bandleader continues his fight for life.

Trout's family last week revealed he'd die if he didn't receive a liver transplant within 90 days, and launched an emergency fundraising campaign to help cover the costs of surgery.

The target amount was secured within four days - but the veteran musician has a long way to go before he can consider the possibility of going back to work.

Knapp has issued an appeal with the blessing of his boss, saying: "The entire band and crew are looking for work. We're all there for Walter for whatever is coming, but for now we must all survive, and provide for our families during this dark time." Find out how you can help here.
