"It's two great bands that are going to be playing for the same amount of time," says Def Leppard singer Joe Elliot. "It's joint forces. I don't see it as competitive at all."

On April 10, the original lineup of KISS will be inducted into the 2014 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame at a ceremony in New York, along with Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt.

Def Leppard recently regrouped in Dublin, Ireland to work on some new music; the band's last studio album was 2008's "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge."
