Brad Paisley Offers To Make Country Soundtrack to Justin Bieber's Life (Recap)
. During a recent press conference in the UK covered by Metro (Paisley was performing at the Country to Country festival in London), Paisley said he was more than willing to write the country soundtrack to Bieber's life. "In the old-fashioned sense, we sang about stuff that's really hip now, such as Johnny Cash sang about drug abuse, and he sang about adultery and all these things that are really popular now," Paisley explained. "We were way ahead of the game. Have you watched Justin Bieber lately? He is living a George Jones song. If he needed a soundtrack for what's going on with him, or Miley, let me know." While Paisley confessed that some still call country music old fashioned, the topics discussed in the genre fit even today's Bieber headlines. "There's nothing to be ashamed of about being old fashioned," he said. "I mean, I grew up on The Andy Griffith Show, I grew up listening to Johnny Cash records and some of that's an old-fashioned thing." - more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
