Black Keys Announce North American Tour Via Fake Press Conference
. A new clip shows the guys doing a Presidential-style conference with Dan Auerbach apologizing to the crowd, filled with people he says are friends who supported him, letting them know they should be critical of him. The crowd bursts into laughter as the camera focuses on Auerbach who looks more than a little scared. But once Patrick Carney takes the podium, the crowd erupts in jeers before the feed ends and we're given the tour dates. Left wondering what it is these guys did. Maybe they'll let us know once they hit the road? Black Keys officially start their world tour overseas in on June 20, before heading back to the States on September 5 for a show in their home state of Ohio. Openers for the North American tour include Cage the Elephant, Jake Bugg and St. Vincent. Check out the video and the tour dates here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
