(Radio.com) On Wednesday night, (May 14) Blondie celebrated their 40th anniversary on The Daily Show with a performance of "Sugar On the Side" and "One Way or Another," but that's not all that happened.

Frontwoman Debbie Harry also took part in Jon Stewart's coverage of the Solange/Jay Z elevator mishap with her own PSA. With soft piano in the background, Harry took her spot in front of the camera to talk about the "scourge of private elevator violence."

"It's a terrible epidemic that affects everyone from the very famous to the incredibly famous," she says while the elevator scene from TMZ is shown. "If private elevator violence won't stop, the day might come where celebrities have to take the stairs," she deadpans. "Do you want to live in that world? I know I don't."

She then advises to "think before you kick" as she holds up a sign that reads #F*@KYOURUSH." Watch her PSA here.
