Jimmy Page Shares Led Zeppelin Stories With Berklee College Of Music
. "I remember playing here (Boston) in 1969," began Page. "It was the first time that we played three hours. It was in very early days - we only had one album out at this point, the first album - but the audience just wouldn't let us go, they just wanted more and more and more." Page also goes on to discuss his influences and how he learned to play music, as well as his thoughts on being chosen for the scholl's honorary degree. The guitarist delivered the commencement speech to this year's graduates at the Agganis Arena on May 10. The Led Zeppelin guitarist admitted that he had prepared a speech but after hearing the students pay tribute to him the night before at the annual commencement concert at the venue he tossed the speech aside, joking, "Here I am, a busking musician trying to busk my speech."
