Migos Releases New Atlanta Anthem

(Radio.com) Migos pulled out all the stops for their new anthem for ATL - including snagging one of the city's biggest hit makers, Jermaine Dupri. The rap troupe released "New Atlanta" Thursday (May 29), an homage to Dupri's classic "Welcome to Atlanta" track from 2002 that highlighted the city's up-and-coming hip-hop community.

With "New Atlanta," Migos are joined not only by Dupri, but also by Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan, two other rising stars from Atlanta. As evidenced by past hits "Versace" and "Hannah Montana," Migos have a penchant for repetition, sometimes back-to-back, repeating the same words until they're inescapable, engrained into one's mind.

While "New Atlanta" might not completely play by the book in that regard, there's a fair share of mention of Georgia's capital city, in case one forgets what part of the U.S. we're talking about here. more on this story
