Trace Adkins Returning To The Road For Summer Tour
. The first show of the tour takes place June 5 in Sayreville, N.J., and the string of U.S. shows lasts all summer long, winding down in Rohnert Park, Calif. on Sept. 26. "I'm excited, recharged and ready to get back on the road," Adkins said in a press statement. "I owe a debt of gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of encouragement and support over the past few months. It's hard to put into words how much comfort you take from hearing 'We've got your back.' So these shows are for you guys - thanks." Adkins wound up a tabloid star earlier this year, after reports surfaced he was involved in an altercation with a known Trace Adkins impersonator. The incident took place in January and was witnessed by, among others, Love & Theft's Stephen Barker Liles. Adkins left the cruise after the incident and entered rehab. In March, he performed on the Grand Ole Opry with the band Exile. This summer marks the first time since the incident that he is getting back on the road. Check out the dates here.
