Trisha Yearwood's New Song 'Can't Trust the Weatherman' Goes Online
. "Can't Trust the Weatherman" is country at its best. The upbeat song kicks off with plenty of banjo and fiddle alongside some aggressive electric guitar and Yearwood's familiar vocals. The song follows a couple who are expecting and plan a shotgun wedding. Of course, as the title suggests, you can't always trust the weatherman to predict the best weather for a special occasion. "The man on the evening news/ Promised sun and 72/ But can't trust the weatherman," Yearwood sings. "Whole crowd was soaking wet/ Mud all over mama's dress." No doubt a sign of things to come for the couple, six months later they were tight on cash and struggling to get by when they decided to rob a bank. "If you wonder how the story ends/ remember when you're making plans you can't trust the weatherman," Yearwood continues. Read more and listen to the track here.
