Snoop Dogg Celebrates 1 Million YouTube Subscribers With New Track

(Radio.com) Some people celebrate social media milestones with a "thank you" post. Snoop Dogg celebrates them with new tracks. After hitting 1 million subscribers on his WestFest TV YouTube channel, Snoop has dropped the freestyle "WFTV Millionaire."

It's a funk-leaning two-and-a-half-minute jam where Snoop winkingly raps about his many phases ("I reinvented myself seven times/ Going on eight") and his YouTube channel.

He also drops thank you lines like "I wanna thank y'all from the bottoms up / Smoke something, and put your bottoms up," fully aware of the absurdity of the song's premise.

Regardless of his motivation, it's good to hear Snoop back at it. The track marks a rare solo rap song from the formerly prolific artist these days, and his upcoming album, produced by Pharrell Williams, will be his first all-rap LP since 2011's Doggumentary. Check out the new song here.
