(hennemusic) Pink Floyd are revealing details of the origins of their final album, "The Endless River", due November 10 (Nov 11 in North America). The project features material recorded by David Gilmour, Rick Wright and Nick Mason during sessions for 1994's "The Division Bell."

"In the beginning of 1993," explains Gilmour, "we went into Britannia Row Studios and set up - just like the old days - so that the three of us could just play along with each other for the love of it and see what it came out like. Out of that, this album has grown; out of that grew 'The Division Bell' album, as well, but there was an awful lot of material."

"The Endless River" is being billed as a four-sided instrumental album with the lead single, "Louder Than Words", featuring new lyrics by Gilmour's wife, author Polly Samson.

The project serves as the band's tribute to Wright, who died from cancer in 2008 at the age of 65. Check out the new EPK video for the album here.
