Kelly Clarkson Gives Taylor Swift's Shake It Off A Soulful Makeover

. (Radio.com) Kelly Clarkson put a new, perhaps Jesus-approved spin on Taylor Swift's song "Shake It Off." At a show in Buffalo, New York this weekend Clarkson covered Swift's latest single, sending her fans to church with a gospel version of the track. She also let the crowd know, "I love that song," Clarkson said. "Seriously, everyone gives Taylor such a hard time, but she can write a hook - I'm just sayin'."

Clarkson also questioned her "church" version of the song, calling it perhaps, "blasphemous," but she feels okay about it. "I might be going to hell, but it ain't for that," she told the crowd.

Swift was quite flattered with Clarkson's version, even tweeting, "Watching Kelly Clarkson SLAY "Shake It Off" is an excellent way to celebrate 26 HOURS TIL 1989!!!!!!"
