CeeLo Green's TV Show Canceled

(Radio.com) Was it his Twitter presence? The petition condemning said presence after tweets about rape he sent over the weekend? A matter of ratings? Who knows, but either way, CeeLo Green's The Good Life has been canceled.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the TBS reality show about Green will no longer be a part of the network's schedule. The show was canceled after just one season after premiering in June.

A source confirmed to EW that the reason for the cancellation was poor ratings, though some are claiming the timing suggests that Green's Twitter comments also played a role in some capacity.

Green came under fire after tweeting his thoughts on consent and sex after pleading no contest to giving a woman Ecstasy in 2012. The woman claimed she woke up in bed next to Green with no memory of how she got there. More details here.
