Foo Fighters Confirm Crowdfunded Concert Details

. (hennemusic) The Foo Fighters will play their first crowdfunded concert at The National Theater in Richmond, Virginia on September 17, marking their return to the city after 16 years.

"How's Sept. 17th @TheNationalRVA sound? Let's do it. If you pledged, check your email for details!" tweeted the Foo Fighters about the show on Wednesday.

A Crowdhoster campaign was launched in March by Andrew Goldin (see video below), who sought to bring the band back to one of Dave Grohl's former hometowns for their first show since 1998. More details here.
