It's yet another reminder that Karen O's greatest power as a songwriter is in creating pinpricking emotional intensity within a mere few verses - a strength she showed off in "The Moon Song," written for Spike Jonze's Her, which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song this year.
