(Radio.com) Lady Gaga's Artrave: The Art Pop Ball tour is coming to the Middle East this week, and with it comes the concerns that the Mother Monster might offend the cultural sensibilities in the region with her generous displays of flesh via her revealing onstage outfits.

But the Hollywood Reporter reports that at a press conference that took place shortly after Gaga landed Monday night (Sept. 8), she was asked if she'd be wearing any revealing outfits onstage. "No, I will not be," she said. "I respect the culture here, and this show will be appropriate for all the fans here in Dubai."

She continued: "I know there are some artists that are very strict about their policies of adhering to their art and not compromising, but I actually think it's important to respect other cultures and not force them to adhere to the beliefs of your own country. In fact, I think it's a better way to connect with the people and to connect a message."

Gaga's concert at Dubai's Meydan Racecourse on Wednesday is her first performance in the United Arab Emirates. And while she's a huge draw here in the U.S., the local media have been reporting that only half of the possible tickets have been bought.
