Stevie Wonder Launching Songs in the Key of Life Tour
. The location for the announcement makes sense, as the album was recorded primarily in Hollywood in 1976, Wonder's 18th album at the time, and considered by many to be both his best and his most important. That "plus" included in the number of tour dates takes on increased importance in the city of the press conference, as Los Angeles wasn't one of the 10 cities included on the initial itinerary. The tour, produced and promoted by Live Nation, will kick off Nov. 6 in New York City at Madison Square Garden and will continue through Dec. 5 when it wraps in Oakland, Calif. In between, Wonder has lined-up stops in Washington, D.C., Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Auburn Hills, Atlanta, Toronto, Las Vegas and Seattle. Check out the current slate of dates here.
