Lee Brice Receives Platinum Award During Madison Square Garden Show
. Before a sold-out crowd at New York's Madison Square Garden, Brice was awarded a plaque for his single "I Don't Dance." Hoda Kotb of Today's Kathie Lee and Hoda walked onstage alongside representatives of the RIAA to present Brice with a plaque for the song, which the RIAA has acknowledged as the Fastest Certified Platinum Country Single released in 2014. During an interview with CBS Detroit's 99.5 WYCD (a CBS Radio station), last year he talked about his newly awarded single. "Basically it's a song that I was writing about who I was and where my wife basically brought me to. So it's a song geared toward our first dance," he told the station. Read more here.
