Trampled Under Foot Breaking Up

. (The Blues) Sibling blues band Trampled Under Foot have decided to split nearly a year after drummer Kris Schnebelin left the band. The Kansas City outfit, formed in 2002, initially decided to carry on with Jan Faircloth of Levee Town in his place, and added longtime touring keyboardist Mike 'Shinetop' Sedovic as a permanent member.

But now TUF frontwoman Danielle Schnebelen tells The Pitch: "We're putting the project to rest. When Kris left in January it put a lot of things into perspective. We didn't really feel like it was Trampled Under Foot any more.

"Jan and Mike are killer musicians - but when you start with a sibling foundation and that goes away, it's just not the same." Read about their farewell plans here.
