One Direction Fans Outraged At Daily Show Over Terrorist Joke

. (Radio.com) One Direction have had their fair share of jokes cracked at their expense, but a new one is causing controversy. Last week the boy band's name was brought into a sketch on Jon Stewart's The Daily Show where the host, along with senior correspondent Jessica Williams, joked about the multitude of terrorism groups.

"A new terrorist group just formed with one member each from ISIS, al-Nusra, al-Qaeda, Hamas, One Direction and the Zetas drug cartel," Williams said.

"The superists. They like to hijack planes and take them to Cuba. They're really kicking it old school, Jon. Very vintage." Many of their fans took to Twitter to voice their outrage with the hashtag #thedailyshowgonetoofar.
