(Radio.com) Carrie Underwood is a changed woman, and she's convinced it has something to do with the water. On her new song "Something In The Water," co-written with Chris DeStefano and Brett James, who previously worked together on Underwood's duet with Miranda Lambert, "Somethin' Bad," she takes us to church.

Underwood even sings a few lines from "Amazing Grace" as she retells a story about following a preacher down to the river to be baptized. Perhaps, this newfound strength she's singing about has a little something to do with the bun she has in the oven.

This new song is off her upcoming album, which isn't actually that new at all. Underwood is gearing up to release Greatest Hits: Decade #1 on December 9, which will, as the title implies, feature some of her most well-known songs. Of course, as she makes clear, this is just decade one. They'll be more hits to come, don't you worry.

Underwood had been teasing the name of her new single via Twitter with numerous tweets referencing water, including one that quoted Ray Charles and another featuring a photo of Eufaula Lake in Oklahoma and the words, "I'm going to miss being on the water."
