Shot in a Pueblo village in southern California, the video finds Ballard driving into the town with a vintage Porsche convertible. Once settled, he straps on his guitar to play some tunes for the locals before he joins them to take shots of whiskey in the hot summer sun.

When his dream girl approaches, he leaves to follow her. With the chorus of, "Every time you kiss me it's like sunshine and whiskey," it's no surprise that the kissing scenes take up the majority of the video.

In an interview with Radio.com during record release week, Ballard talked about the title track to the album. "The way we arranged it, sonically speaking, that sound is going to be identifiable with the record," Ballard explained. "It's a fun song, 'Every time you kiss me, it's like sunshine and whiskey.' It's a summertime thing."
