Marilyn Manson's Latest CD Changes Color When Played
. The discs came courtesy of Sony, and were the same ones used by PlayStation in the '90s for their video games. The discs are harder for pirates to copy, but the reasoning from Manson's camp was an aesthetic one. "When you open the CD it's pitch black, but we also added a thermal texture on top," the album's art director Hassan Rahim told Kill Screen (via Billboard).
