Rush Release Live 'YYZ' Video

(hennemusic) Rush have released a video of the performance of their classic 1981 instrumental, "YYZ", from their newly-released set "R40 Live." The tune was originally released as the b-side of "Limelight", the second single from the band's "Moving Pictures" album.

"YYZ" is named after the identification code for Toronto's Pearson International Airport. "R40 Live" presents Rush in concert in their hometown of Toronto over two nights this past June.

During the 40th anniversary run, bassist Geddy Lee discussed the group's plans to scale back the length of touring as band members approach their mid-60s in the next few years, with drummer Neil Peart wishing to spend more time at home with his family in California.

"It's most likely our last tour," said Lee. "I couldn't put it any more accurately. I can't say for sure. But it doesn't mean we don't want to work together still, it doesn't mean we won't do another creative project and I've got ideas for shows we could do that don't involve a tour."
