Pharma CEO Martin Shkreli Arrested For Securities Fraud

(Radio.com) Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO Martin Shkreli has been accused of exerting undue financial influence over the music industry, drug markets and our political system. However, the latest set of charges he faces are unrelated and just might stick.

In Brooklyn, Shkreli was arrested by the FBI and charged with illegally taking stock from Retrophin Inc., a biotech firm he founded in 2011, according to CBS News.

The charges state he used those resources to pay off debts from other business dealings, according to Bloomberg. After ousting him from the company, the board sued Shkreli. Read more here.
